Here Today, Gone Tomorrow

If you read Mr. Cassidy’s Digital Tibetan Altar blog today, September 1, 2009, you would find a series of innocuous posts .  But that definitely has not always been the case. In August, 2009, he ran six particularly scathing posts that defame Jetsunma Ahkon Lhamo, her students, and Kunzang Palyul Choling. You will not find those posts at his site today though. Mr. Clean has purged his site. But we have a synopsis of each of these posts below as well as a link to the cached pages of those posts wiped clean.

For instance, there was the “Franklin Lineage” post on August 7, 2009 in which he claimed to have juicy information from an anonymous translator about someone who had actually purchased their title of Tulku. Claimed that if he let that cat out of the bag, there would be a whole bunch of worried Tulkus running around. We find out later who he thinks this was.

On the next day , August 8, 2009 his post was “Following a Spiritual Master: Updated Notes on a Buddhist Cult.” Here he accuses Jetsunma of forcing her students to find a doctor who will prescribe them with the same psychiatric medicines that she takes. He then posts a fake arrest record for Jetsunma. We debunked that in a previous post on this blog. And also show what a real rap sheet looks like – his. He claims that she cannot give empowerments and does not teach Buddhism. He indicates that KPC is a cult. Here is a quote from Mr. Cassidy’s post, “We have a Jonestown type tragedy in the making. That is prophecy. If you have a son, or daughter, or loved one involved with this cult, the time to arrange an intervention is now.”

August 11,2009 Cassidy features a post called “Ambush” in which he continues to defame Jetsunma,, imply that she sent him a love letter, and that her status as a throneholder of a pure lineage is in doubt.

And then there was “Sedona, the Succubus, and the Stupa” on August 12, 2009. In this one he accuses Jetsunma of being depressed, and paranoid, taking drugs and drinking too much. And he fabricates “evidence” to prove his points.

On August 19, 2009, he runs a post called “Buddhism and Substance Abuse. And can you guess who might be the subject of his post? That’s right. He accuses Jetsunma of having an addiction to marijuana.

On August 21, 2009 his post is called “Lineage of Schemes” in which he brings up Jetsunma’s failed marriages, that she abused alcohol and drugs, and started a spiritual center in which, “She also began raking in money from the credulous: cleaning spirits, blessing money, selling hex candles, and all the other traditional profit centers of the gypsy fortuneteller’s repertoire.” And then he implies that she purchased her title of “Tulku” from His Holiness Penor Rinpoche. Ah, the Franklin Lineage is revealed at last. He also implies that Jetsunma’s personal attendant was also her sexual partner. And he backs up his statements with more faked evidence.

So why did he take his posts down? Only he can answer that.

    Poison

The most precious teaching I have ever received from my Guru is to watch the poisons in one’s mind. The purpose of the watching is to have the capacity to conquer those poisons.
Please help me understand why that does not seem to apply to this tempa guy? Is he Buddhist? This writing from him is like no Buddhist I have ever heard. He is judgemental, mean-spirited, hateful, and the LIES!!! OMG!!!
I have been to KPC and heard Jetsunma’s teaching. Many times. I almost always cry, she seems to be talking only to me. She shows me my faults and empowers me to demolish them. She is a life-changing experience.
When she walks into a room you can feel her love. That is all I can say. When she opens her mouth JEWELS come out. I have never felt that before.
I guess there are talkers, and there are the ones who have it all.
She’s the one. Tenpa has NADA.

PS (I would have put this comment on his blog, but he never posts my comments. So I am so happy I have found a place to post my opinion)
